Oude Westhof and Van Riebeeckshof was originally a wine farm. Oude Westhof is located on the hillside overlooking the Majik forest and the Boland Mountains. It slopes horseshoe like towards Van Riebeeckshof Drive and borders farmland and the Tygerberg Nature Reserve at the top of the hill. It is one of the most recent developments in the Northern Suburbs and therefor offers contemporary styles in a mix from gentleman's estates to standard freestanding homes and security villages with townhouses. Ideal for the active young family, theses homes are close to walking, jogging and cycling trails. The Homeowners Association landscaped the open public spaces to uplift the areas. To fund such projects and to offer the services they raise a monthly levy.
