Doordekraal is centrally located on either side of Jip de Jager Drive, nestled between Protea Valley, Welgemoed and Van Riebeeckshof Drive. Its popularity thrives on being a feeding area for Kenridge Primary and Welgemoed Primary, and residents have the choice of various access routes to the N1, Tyger Valley and Willow Bridge Shopping Centers. The Doordekraal Dam plays centre stage in outdoor entertainment -- joggers, dog-lovers and cyclists can enjoy a 2km nature path around the dam.
